                                                                 9 nights and 10 days

Day 1 Arrive Tashkent Arrival in Tashkent and transfer to your hotel. Free Time. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Tashkent - 4 hours:  visit to Amir Timur Square, Theatre Square and Opera House, Applied Arts Museum, Earthquake Memorial, People's Friendship Palace with Abdul Kasim Madrassah and Alisher Navoi National Park, Independence Square.

Day 2 Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva Early transfer to the airport and flight to Urgench. Arrival Urgench and drive to Khiva (30 km), hotel check-in and breakfast. Full day of sightseeing in Khiva – morning: visits to the inner town of Ichan Kala (XIV-XX CC) with Muhamad Amin khan Madrassah, Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya Ark, Muhamad Rahim khan Madrassah, Djuma Mosque and Minaret, Tash Hauli Palace.Lunch in so called restaurant-Madrassah of the XIX century. PM sightseeing for 2 hrs: Islam Khodja Minaret and Madrassah, Shirgazi khan Madrassah Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum. Night in Khiva.

Day 3 Khiva – Bukhara Drive to Bukhara via the Kizilkum desert (460 km,7 hrs).
Stop en route near the Amu Darya River. Arrive Bukhara and hotel check-in, free time.

Day 4 Bukhara Full day in Bukhara. Morning: city tour - 4 hours - with visits to the Ark Fortress (I-XX CC), Bolo Hauz Mosque (XVIII C), Samanids Mausoleum (IX-X CC), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (XII-XVI CC), followed by lunch. In the afternoon, walking tour along the old town of Bukhara from Poi- Kalyan complex with Kalyan Minaret (XII C) through the orient bazaars with the  three trade domes of Toki Zargaron (XV C), Toki Sarrafon (XVI C), Toki Telpak Furushon (XVI C), Ulugbek Madrassah (XV C), Abdulazizkhan Madrassah (XVII C) to the Lyabi Hauz complex (XVI -XVII CC).

Day 5 Bukhara Today we drive outside Bukhara for sightseeing: Bagautdin Nakhshbandi Complex - a center of Sufism (XIV-XVI CC, 14 km outside the town), Sitorai Mokhi Khosa - summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara (XIX-XX, 4 km outside the town). Lunch. In the afternoon, visit to the Chor Bakr Necropolis (XVI-XX CC, 10 km outside the town), back to Bukhara and a visit to the Chor – Minor (Four Minarets, XIX C). Dinner in Nadir Divan Begi Madrassah with folklore show.

Day 6  Bukhara - Shakhrisabz – Samarkand Drive to Shakhrisabz (300km, 4 hours). Shakhrisabz is Tamerlane’s home-town. During our 2 hour sightseeing tour you will see some great examples of Central Asian architecture of XIV-XV centuries: The Ak Saray Palace, Ulugbek’s Blue Domed Mosque, Jakhangir’s Mausoleum. In the afternoon, we drive on to Samarkand (150 km, 2,5 hours).

Day 7 Samarkand Full day in Samarkand. In the morning, sightseeing tour - 4 hours: Ulugbek Observatory (XV C), Excavation of the ancient city and museum of Afrosiyab, Tombstone of Saint Danyar. In the afternoon, you will spend 3 hours visiting Registan Square (XV-XVII CC), Bibi Khanum Mosque (XIV-XV CC) and the local bazaar.

Day 8 Samarkand Full day in Samarkand. Morning city tour visiting the Gur-Emir Mausoleum- Grave of Timur (XV C), Rukhabad Mausoleum (XIV C), Shakhi Zinda Necropolis (XIV-XV CC). In the afternoon: visit to the "Samarkand - Bukhara Silk Carpets" factory for 2 hours where you can observe the whole process of weaving silk carpets based on “handmade” technology.

Day 9 Samarkand – Tashkent Drive to Tashkent (320 km, 5 hours) and hotel check-in. In the afternoon, visit to the Tashkent Metro and the Chorsu oriental bazaar.

 Day 10 Tashkent  Transfer to the airport and departure.
