When used as a stationary system, the Mini Solar-Gen mounts easily to a wall adjacent to a battery bank. Battery and solar panel wire kits available made to your specific installation plan. Solar Panel mounting kits are also available for roof, ground, or pole mount installations. How it Works The battery cables of the Mini Solar-Gen are connected to a single battery or a group of batteries. The solar panel is connected to a control enclosure by plugging the solar panel extension cable connector to an Inlet Receptacle. The solar panel energy harvested from the sun is routed through a charge controller, then to the battery. The charge controller prevents over charging of the battery during the day and from battery discharging at night when loads are not in use.
